Overview

Soho House approached us with a full renovation of a retail space in Bicester Village on a very tight deadline.

Delivery

Soho House required a complete renovation of a retail space to create a rustic farmshop cafe and restaurant. The unit required completely gutting and renovating within a short timeframe to reduce lost revenue from closure. We were given three weeks to complete this project.

In the initial consultation we discussed the full requirement and hard-stop timeline. Our solution planned back-to-back shift work around the clock so we could hit the deadline. Additionally, the workspace was within a busy retail environment with open retail units surrounding this unit, this meant teams working during village opening hours were agreed to be discrete and professional at all times.

Processes

This project was a complete top to bottom renovation including but limited to:

  • Full strip-out
  • Laying a cobbled stone floor
  • Full re-wire & new lighting
  • Exposed timber beam installation
  • Reclaimed timber cladding throughout
  • Barn doors built and fitted
